Went to watch Mary Poppins and have some food, so got the meal deal. The seats in the cinema were very comfortable and there was plenty of leg room. It was slightly chilly but this is probably because there weren't that many people at this particular screening.Went upstairs for our food after, the service was quick and friendly. We had a chilli and a Cajun chicken burger both of which were lovely and a very good portion size.I would definitely return and have the meal deal again as it was great value and the food was tasty.
We were in Screen 2, experiencing the revamped Savoy for the first time. What a joy! Comfortable, full stadium seating and great service including coffee served while we waited for the film to start. Altogether an excellent evening at the cinema, with the tiny proviso that the volume was a little to high at times. The experience was only slightly marred by the few members of the audience who clearly failed to appreciate the efforts made by the Savoy to create an ideal venue, since they wandered in late, disturbing the start of the film, and proceeded to rustle food containers.
Food's not great but very comfortable seating and legroom in the cinema area itself due to recent upgrades. Can find good films fairly often. Overall good experience:)
