The interior design of this gastropub is amazing. It's very cozy, the fish pie is one of the most delicious things I ate in Cornwall (and I ate a lot of delicious things in Cornwall) and there was a lovely session of incredible Cornish music made by local musicians which made the evening perfect.
This pub's unusual decor makes it an enchanting place. My wife and I ate here twice over the Easter weekend and was very impressed by the quality of the food. The staff were wonderful and attentive without being overbearing. Thoroughly recommend a visit.
The inside is full of old ships rigging and paraphernalia. Upstairs is like an old ships galleon with massive steering wheel. Two bars at busy times. We had two wonderfull egg ham and chips. Ultra fresh ingredients. The ham was marvellous and the chips a perfect golden yellow cooked with fresh oil and so crisp. Take a look and enjoy.
Everything you want in a pub really. Great food, lovely bar staff, and a wonderful interior. Nice for groups, couples or a solitary drink. Always come to this pub when we visit the area.
