Great coastline and historical area shame it's not signposted very well from main road. Well worth a visit

Absolutely stunning place to visit. The hike down the cliffs to photograph the mines was not too difficult and the results were well worth the effort.

Bottalock is home to some of Cornwall's most beautiful coastlines. Not just where the mine is, but all the way along. The mines themselves are incredible. There are also A fair few documentaries on YouTube that go into detail about the Bottalock region, and it's extensive history. Both the location, and the videos, are absolutely amazing. Do yourself a favour. Check them out! You won't be sorry.

An area of outstanding natural beauty it certainly is. It also boasts the Cornish Choughs that are so sought after. There is a coffee shop, toilets, and miles and miles of unspoilt countryside along with the mines used on the filming of Poldark. If you're anywhere near it's well worth a visit.

Really find these Tin/Copper mines interesting. National Trust doing a good job. Coffee and cake nice. People nice.
