Great lunchtime Gypsy Jazz session today and superb sunday roast.
We like this place because of its location and history. Always had a warm welcome and service. It is quirky and old but that is because it is quirky and old. The room we had was comfortable and cosy.
We arrive after lunch had finished. Simon the chef said make us some sandwiches, excellent BLT and Tuna.Beer was also first rate and staff could be helpful.Tried for many years to find a nice comfy bar and this is it in Penzance!!!Will try stay over next time, well done to all the staffThanks Again.
Made an emergency booking when Scillonian was cancelled due to bad weather. Manager and staff were brilliant, Nice rooms, excellent service delicious plentiful food. Will come again.Dr Brian Howell and family
As soon I entered the Hotel, reminded me the horror movies I used to watch in childhood. Nude paintings are on the wall in the room. Bed creaking all night. Bad smell in the room. Very arrogant and rude manager. Boiling hot and no fan available in the room.Had to leave hotel after first night and i have been charged for 2 nights and no checkout receipt given. Everyday reminding for the checkout receipt but no action. Avoid do waste time, money and holiday.
