We had a really lovely stay here very well located especially if you come by train. The staff were very friendly the food and breakfast especially was great and lots of GF options which I valued. The rooms were clean and comfortable. My only criticism is that the decor is very dated and they really could do with a picture or some art here and there - all the rooms are named after lovely Cornish seaside towns so a little seaside flavour would have made all the difference! I'd definitely consider going again though.
Really cool pub, comfy seats and good acoustics. Excellent selection of drinks, great food (we had the carvery and crumble!). Staff were really lovely, Martin and Ryan were so nice, even letting us put a film on in the cinema whilst we waited for our train. Definitely coming back!

Fantastic Sunday carvery. Very competitive prices. Small plate, which u can stack! 6.99 at time of posting 9.99 for big bellies.The Yorkshire pudding and gravy are the best for miles.Friendly, helpful staff.Highly recommended
Ideally situated right by the railway station, this inn is a great place to stay. The rooms are well presented and are very clean, although the bathroom in my room was ever so slightly dated this was by no means a distraction. The beds and pillows are very comfy. I can't comment on the food in the bar as we ate elsewhere. Would recommend!
