Nice room, super staff, & superb breakfast.. no see through bacon here, and undercover car parking too!
My partner and I stayed at Beachfield for two nights to attend a wedding nearby. We stayed in room 10 on the top floor. Be warned - there is no lift which is quite a challenge with suitcases! But the view was lovely.The room itself was very large, and the bed was comfy. I enjoyed sitting in the arm chairs in front of the window looking at the coastal view. The room didnt have a hotel feel, but more like staying at an aunt's house in their guest bedroom. So it was less hotel luxurious, and more homely and cosy.The bathroom was clean, but the shower was over the bath with a shower curtain which is a bit of a surprise in a hotel. The weather was quite warm while we stayed, and we learned there is no air conditioning! There is just a desk fan. We werent in our room during the day thankfully, so it wasnt really a problem, though a bit stuffy and warm when we were getting ready - England was unusually hot in July!We went down both days for complimentary breakfast. Its a charming little dining area. There is a small cold buffet, and you order hot foods. I think I would have rather had a full buffet, but it was nice to custom order. I hope this review was helpful for prospective travellers :-)
Small vintage hotel on a main road within a 10 minute walk of the town centre, along the seafront. Free secure garage parking is available next to the hotel. Rooms were an ample size, well presented, clean and comfortable. There is no lift available to the upper accommodation floors. The free WiFi was intermittent and generally not great quality. Some people may be bothered by the road noise in the early morning. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very pleasant and hospitable.
Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Clean comfortable room with good sea view. Nice bar and a very good breakfast. We will definitely come and stay again
Love this place . Staff are wonderful and have always made me feel so welcome. And having to work away from home for a while at a time. They made the process feel a lit better. The rooms are a delight. Every thing you need . The food is first class. Cleanliness is spot on and would thourghly recommend it to stay for any visit to Penzance
