Nice place to be with pleasent staff & surroundings
Good accessibility to all local amenities with a supermarket just 5 minutes walk. Facilities dated and tired but all in good working order. Very attentive site manager who goes out of his way to help. Good to see that still a few sites left that allow a camp fire and will even supply a fire basket and timber too!
Spent a lovely bank holiday weekend at Ponsandane Campsite with my family. Water was always hot in the toilet/shower block.Roger was helpful and cares about the campsite being a nice environment for the campers.Lovely to have a fire to sit around.Would recommend and definitely come again.
Had an absolute great week here, the toilet block was clean and the shower's hot, Roger was always around if you needed anything, and does his very best to help out, the kids adoured him. Its camping how camping should be. The kids could run round and have fun without being moaned at, a cold beer round an open camp fire at the end of the day telling stories....you can pitch your tent where you like without being regimented unlike some sites do. There's a good reason why people return here.....and we can't wait to do so.
We are looking forward to camping again in August it poured with rain last year and was our first visit to this campsite . we couldnt have been made more welcome .Great to have firewood provided and be able to Cook and sit around an open fire . All that camping should be about . Tescos nearby and a short walk into Penzance to the pub if you like that sort of thing! A great place for us friends to hang out and explore the diving from Penzance
