Excellent subscription library ranging from historic collections of books, newspapers and photographs to recently published fiction and non-fiction.Despite the comments of another reviewer, the library is open and thriving. Don't confuse the Morrab Library with the Cornwall Council library which has moved from Morrab Road to St John's Hall!
It was an excellent library but now it's been closed down . Very sad sight for penzance .
Really nice atmosphere of a 'real' library.
A wonderful hidden gem in Penzance, the Library is much bigger and more comfortable than the council run library. Morrab is run by Volunteers who give the place a nice and friendly atmosphere.there is plenty of space to sit and read and lots of desk space to work or study. it even has a small kitchen to make refreshments. and its just 30 a year membership.
