Annsome cakes was an absolute let down ; For the first wedding I attended , in which annsome cakes supplied , the cake was bitterly sweet , making it untainable to even eat. To top it all off the icing was thicker than the actual cake ! In my opinion , rotten. It drooped down and wasn't exactly an eye catcher. In my word ; disgusting. Forwarding to the second wedding I attended , we had a lovely surprise to the cake not even arriving.Lack of communication was there from what I know when the bride tried contacting the supplier , with the two occasions.Not at all friendly , her true colours had been shown.Truth be ; not at all annsome.Should be called ranesome cakes.It was an embarrassment to the bride's , and disgrace to the guests.Not to mention the cake being an unpleasant scene in first bride's the photo album.The other poor bride didn't even have a cake to showcase.Please , future bride's ; don't ruin your day.
No gloves worn when preparing food, raw bacon for another order was being handled at the same time as my food was being made. Never seem to get my orders correct, staff members don't wear hair nets, the cakes are so sweet and not cooked. Also pretty sure cleaning a knife by wiping it on the bin, is not 'cleaning'
So I have attended 2 weddings within the last few months, the first cake looked somewhat like the leaning tower of Pisa and the icing looked like it was done by an armless child! The second cake must have vanished into thin air as it didnt even arrive at the wedding! If you would like to buy a cake for I dont know your grandparents and say your child made it then I would recommend.
Very disappointed that my mothers wedding cake was not delivered on her wedding day, ruined the day for her after months of planning!
